In 2004 a dream project came into being for Gail Behr – a boutique hotel called The Grand. Since the initial conceptual phase of brand & visual DNA design, CREATE DESIGN ™ has ensured that The Grand’s presence is well-established, locally, internationally and online.

The Grand Hotel is bohemian - its décor is lavish yet homely. The challenge for CREATE DESIGN ™ was to identify a brand that would capture an essence of baroque opulence overlaid with a patina of age.

Once the master brand was set and emblazoned across the entrance on a billboard, detailed on the gowns in gold thread, and fired into the porcelain crockery, the stage was set.

CREATE DESIGN ™ have continued to work on the brand DNA since 2004 and through this process have developed a cornucopia of marketing materials for The Grand - from signage, wine labels, newspapers and wall art to a strong online presence.
